Brat Trot 5K

St. Alphonsus Oktoberfest has been a Chicago tradition for over 15 years, and was recently nominated for one of the ten best Oktoberfests in the country, according to USA Today. Well, why wait for a Friday to start partaking in Oktoberfest activities?

NEW For 2016, the first annual Brat Trot 5K.  It’s the official kick-off to the St. Alphonsus Oktoberfest in Lakeview – a Thursday evening 5K Run/Walk, and a perfect excuse to run off those calories before a weekend of beer, brats, and live bands!

Enjoy a scenic run starting in Diversey Harbor and along Lincoln Park’s lakefront.  Then, celebrate crossing the finish line with a beer and brat with your fellow runners. (Because we can’t call it a “brat trot” without an official brat party!)

Why stop there?  Each registered runner will get free admission to the festival for the entire weekend, plus $10 in St. Alphonsus Brewer Bucks (to be used at the festival for the purchase of beer and/or food).

Sign up now and help us kick-off Oktoberfest right (dressing up in German-themed costumes is highly encouraged)!
